Servicing Your Lifejacket

The UML Automatic Cartridge has an Expiry/Replace By Date printed on it,

Replace before this date.

I.e. on the cartridge is shown:

EXPDATE 05 2011 or REPLACE BY 05 2011 = Expiry Date/Replace By Month/Year (May 2011).

For light use & storage; replace the cartridge at or before the EXPDATE or REPLACE BY date.

Regular leisure use; replace the cartridge every 2 years or by EXPDATE or REPLACE BY Date whichever is sooner.

Commercial and heavy usage; replace the cartridge annually. Do not exceed the EXPDATE or REPLACE BY date within any 1 year period.
